Reports are suggesting that Liverpool's born and bred star Trent Alexander-Arnold has been negotiating a contract with Real Madrid and it is looking likely that the world-class right back will be a Galactico in the summer once his contract expires.
Liverpool have been prone to transfer speculation all season with Virgil Van Dijk and Mohamed Salah also being among the players whose could leave for free come the end of June.
TAA always seemed like the most likely of the trio to leave, but given his Liverpool roots, and his overall brilliance, the sudden inevitability of this move has sparked shock and anger amongst Liverpool fans on social media today.
Fans of the Reds are feeling a range of emotions. Some are angry and feel that the homegrown star has betrayed the club. Another groups of fans are shocked that the news has broke in such a way, and did not see a move on the cards.
Meanwhile, there is a small cohort who have readily come to the terms with the situation and have seemingly already kicked Trent out of the door.
