You may be aware of the very macabre Aaron Ramsey Curse, one of football's most disturbing trends.
A number of people noticed that for a couple of years, an Aaron Ramsey goal triggered an increase in column inches dedicated to the obituaries:

Then a fine run of form throughout the 2013/14 season saw Ramsey score goals at a rate which could not be matched by coincidental celebrity deaths.
This week, however, has seen the sad passings of Alan Rickman and David Bowie, and many were quick to spot another couple of incidents prefiguring their deaths:
