Football revolutionary Pep Guardiola is set to make a rare visit to Ireland this weekend, chatting with Rory McIlroy at the Waterfront Hall and playing in the Pro-Am at the Irish Open, amongst other things.
With that in mind, we thought it was the perfect opportunity to partner with Paul Galvin to give away a tracksuit from his MISTER collection. You see, MISTER was inspired both by the style and life stories of famous La Liga managers, from Guardiola all the way back to Dubliner Patrick O'Connell, who managed Barcelona and Real Betis to La Liga titles in the 1930s.
Galvin told the Examiner this year that the name MISTER was inspired by a Guardiola anecdote from Andres Iniesta's autobiography.
“He talks of going into Pep’s office early in his reign and he used that word ‘mister’,” he says. “I loved this idea of ‘mister’ and Spanish players referring to their manager that way, not as boss or gaffer or whatever.”
With the MISTER line wrapping up shortly, and Galvin launching a new line on July 30, this might be your last chance to get your hands on a MISTER tracksuit. Paul has even prepared the Guardiola quiz for us. If you ace it, you'll be entered to win the tracksuit below.
Send on a screengrab of your 10 out of 10 to be entered to win the prize. Competition closes Friday at noon.
Note: due to high demand, the tracksuit is only available either in size small or large
