Not content with watching last night's Champions League, our office hipster was flicking through the channels when who should he spot but Swedish-Irish footballer Kevin Walker on Sweden's Pop Idol.
Kevin, son of Carlow born former Gillingham, Bohemians and Ireland U21 player Pat Walker, was born in Sweden and currently plays for second division side GIF Sundsvall, who lie third in the table with six games remaining. But, as well as the promotion battle, the former AIK player will also have to focus on his singing, having reached the final rounds of the show with this performance.
It seems the judges (one of whom appears to be Conor McGregor's style inspiration) were impressed.
