While the lifespan of a football manager has shortened drastically in the last twenty years it is still shocking to look back on the amount of times that Sunderland job has switched hands.
By our reckoning the Wearside club has changed manager 18 times since the year 2000, a frankly ridiculous number. The Championship side currently have former Wales manager Chris Coleman at the helm, but sure who knows how long that will last? Sunderland currently sit rock bottom of England's second tier, five points from safety with eight games left to play.
18 managers over 18 years probably goes a long way to telling you how the club got to the position it is in now but can you name every manager to represent the club since 2000? I certainly couldn't.
