There are two Irish men on the Sunday Times list of the richest football managers in Britain and Ireland. Roy Keane is second at £29 million, though most of that was amassed as a player. Martin O'Neill comes in joint tenth with having earned £12 million over his career.
The one, the only, our beloved Trap comes in fourth on the list having earned £21 million in his time as a manager.
That pang of sympathy that you might feel for a manager when sacked might be somewhat soured when you seen Sven Goran Eriksson, Steve Bruce and Mark Hughes on the list, partially (majorly) due to some large payoffs over the years.
