Sports Illustrated journalist Grant Wahl brought to our attention a report from Uruguayan journalist Martin Charquero, who says Luis Suarez has told him that he will remain at Liverpool and may even sign a contract extension at Anfield.
Charquero, who works with GolTV LatinoAmerica, posted on Twitter last night: "Luis Suarez confirms to me that he will not leave Liverpool. The support of the fans in recent weeks influenced his decision."
He added: "Suarez sees it as likely that he'll sign a renewal (extension) to the contract that binds him to Liverpool." (Translations from ESPN).
