The last Liverpool superstar to leave for Barcelona in an elongated saga has made a huge contribution making sure the next one has a smooth transition into life in Catalonia.
In a fascinating piece in today's Daily Mail in which the paper spent four days with Philippe Coutinho in the build up to his inevitable move to Barcelona, it is revealed that long before a deal was done between the two clubs, Luis Suarez had stepped in, and took it upon himself to personally get the Brazilian set up in the city.
According to the Mail, when Barcelona's president, Josep Maria Bartomeu, asked what hotel they would house Coutinho in the initial stages of his move, Suarez had already sorted the whole thing.

Apparently, Suarez himself signed for a house in a beautiful beach town on the coast near Barcelona, in an area where both he and Leo Messi already live.
Coutinho, who was teammates with Suarez at Liverpool, said he and Suarez have been in touch "all the time" about the possible move.
He saw that a house next to his became available. He didn't know I was coming for certain but he liked the idea. It's a kind gesture. We've seen the pictures, the views look amazing. We are in touch all the time and I look forward to seeing the property with my family. I know Luis will help us to feel at home.
