Aston Villa's inevitable relegation was brought one week closer to being confirmed as they lost 2-1 away to Stoke City, and the apathy that is circling around the club can best be seen by the fact that you can buy tickets to Villa's match against Everton on March 1st for just £6:
Remi Garde admitted earlier this week that he is struggling to motivate his players for training, but the best example of players not giving a shit was seen by all when England international Joleon Lescott tweeted that picture of an expensive car after a 6-0 thrashing at the hands of Liverpool.
We all saw it, and after claiming that it was an accidental pocket tweet Joleon isn't being allowed to forget it, not even from the official twitter account of Stoke City, who used their live-tweeting of the match to get a dig in.
And it was beautiful.
21- '@JoleonLescott he's got a new car' is the chant from the Villa fans in the away end #SCFC 0-0 #AVFC

Apologies for that tweet, it was sent from our pocket ;-)

Well played.
2-1 wasn't the worst result in the world at the Britannia, but now all the Villa players have left to play for is catching the eyes of scouts of other clubs.
