First off there was Bojan Krkick, the grown-up boy wonder, then there was Marc Muniesa, followed by the signing of Moha El Ouriachia couple of weeks; now Stoke City are on the verge of signing a fourth player who has served time at Barcelona.
Sky Sports News are reporting that Dutch winger Ibrahim Afellay is about to join Mark Hughes' side. I shit you not.

Afellay was hailed as one of the biggest potential stars in European football durin ghis time with PSV but after joining Barca in 2011, his career stagnated. Now, at the tender age of 29, a move to the Premier League could be just the injection he needs.
Although, for Irish fans we have to ask what does this mean for the future of Jon Walters, who has already been linked with a move to West Brom. While Affelay is predominately a left winger, he could also be used on the right, which could edge Walters out of the starting line-up.
One thing is for sure. Affelay will be an interesting prospect in the world of Fantasy Football.
