We love us some classic football boots here on Balls.ie, and if you didn't already know that then check out our 7 Old Football Boots We Desperately Wish Were Still Available In Shops.
We also love Steven Reid here at Balls.ie, and our love of the man grew even stronger tonight when he decided to randomly upload a picture to twitter of two pairs of boots he found lying around in his gaf, that he described as "absolute classics", and we agree 100%.
Wow having a look through some old bits and uncovered these absolute classics ⚽️?? pic.twitter.com/EOujLwbNI3

The boot on the left is the Nike 'Mercurial' from the year 1998, although the blue and silver R9 version was vastly more popular, the black version is seriously classy.
The boot on the right is of course the Adidas Predator Powerswerve from 2009, a boot that we would associate with Steven Reid and his knack for scoring absolute screamers.
It's always good when footballers show off a bit of boot love, and even better when it's Steven Reid.
UPDATE: He didn't actually find them in his house, his brother is a bit of a chancer:
Tell a lie I gave them to my brother years ago.. Now he turns round and says they don't fit ????
