It was an historic result for Dundee United, ending Rangers 41 game unbeaten streak.
Steven Gerrard held himself accountable in the post-match interview, as Rangers unbeaten streak in the Scottish Premiership came to an end.
The Terrors were helped by a lucky deflection in the build up to Jamie Robson's goal, who produced a fine run and finish to match.
🎙️"Dundee United out of nowhere! A big question has been asked of Rangers!"
Here's a look at Jamie Robson's first goal since 2017 that has given @dundeeunitedfc the lead at Tannadice against Rangers. How will this one end up?

Rangers last loss in the SPFL came in March of 2020, where they defeated by a goal against Hamilton Academical.
"The result and the performance is on me," Gerrard said. "From our point of view, it was not good enough."
"I think over the course of the 90 minutes we didn't deserve to lose the game." Rangers turn their attention to their upcoming Champions League qualifying clash.
The Gers lost the first leg of third round qualifying 2-1 to Swedish side Malmö FF. "We're going to need a far better level of performance to get that done," the Rangers boss said of the deficit.
A brain freeze
The internet folk were quick to point out that Steven Gerrard had referred to United as 'Dundee' twice in the build up to Saturday's game.
If there's one thing that sets off fans of The Terrors, it's referring to your rival club as your own.
Dundee United absolutely outstanding. Never let Rangers settle. Huge self-belief and work-rate. First team to give Rangers a properly bloody nose in the league in 17 months. Yesterday, Steven Gerrard referred to them twice as Dundee. Hmm. He won't be making that mistake again
