Steven Gerrard has returned home to England from Los Angeles following his retirement from professional football, and is if to ram home the point, he spent Wednesday night in Plymouth, working alongside Neil Warnock for BT Sport.
He was on punditry duty for Liverpool's third round FA Cup replay against Plymouth: a game they won 1-0, thanks to a header from Lucas Leiva.
After the game, Gerrard and Neil Warnock were joined by Steve McManaman in the studio with Jake Humphrey to reflect on that game, along with the other third round replays.
During the course of their conversation, Neil Warnock - ever the dry, comic - tried to make a gag on air. He decided to make it about the city of Liverpool, while sitting in between two Scousers. The one to his left - Gerrard - really didn't appreciate it. Watch Gerrard's polite smile darken, followed by a 'what the hell was that' look to Jake Humphrey, who quickly tried to move on from a painfully awkward moment.
