We haven't heard much from Steven Gerrard since he announced that he was retiring back in November. There was speculation that he may have been heading to link up with ex-boss Brendan Rodgers as a coach at Celtic. Then we heard that Anfield was his destination to help Jurgen Klopp. He's currently helping coach an underage Liverpool side.
A video appeared onto our Twitter timeline earlier today though which highlighted how much of a legend Stevie G is. He took time out of his day to do something really nice for a fan.
It shows the Champions League winning captain stride up to a random house in Liverpool which belonged to a teenage cancer patient called Charlie.
Initially, it appears as if no one's home. The cameraman notices some movement though, and the look on Stevie G's face just before the door opens is priceless.

'I like this bit'. Brilliant.
'I'm not coming in if you're a Blue' is a bit rich coming from an Everton fan though! What a thoroughly sound man Gerrard is.
