He may be settling into life as a football manager with Rangers, but Steven Gerrard is all set to relive the ups and downs of his incredible playing-career. A new Gerrard documentary released by Amazon later this month is sure to be a treat for Liverpool fans keen to relive some of those moments themselves.
One of his generation's outstanding talents, Gerrard's club career with Liverpool saw the English midfielder win almost every honour the game had to offer.
Although the Premier League winners' medal remained elusive, this new Gerrard documentary will look back at his finest hours in everywhere from the Champions League final Istanbul to an FA Cup final screamer in Cardiff.
"It's the best thing that could ever happen for a kid, I achieved things that I didn't dream of achieving," Gerrard reveals on the documentary's trailer video.
"I've also had some cruel setbacks along the way as well, and I didn't think I'd have to live with the feelings again.
"What you've got to understand is, this is my life."
Coming from the producers of such well-worked documentaries as Senna and Amy, Steven Gerrard will put his career under the microscope for Make Us Dream.
"Football is not about turning up and playing, it's about dealing with everything that comes with it," Gerrard reflects on some of the everyday difficulties facing Liverpool football club.
"I was Liverpool captain. Liverpool captains always deliver. They have to - the history, the tradition, the success, you feel the responsibility."
In what looks to be an insightful look at one of the outstanding careers of recent memory, the Gerrard documentary will also look at the crippling doubts the midfielder had about how well placed he was to bring Liverpool to where he wanted them to be.
