Millwall came from behind to beat Scunthorpe on Sunday evening, and the 3-2 win sets up a meeting with Bradford in the League One playoff final on Saturday, May 20th.
Neil Harris' men will be hoping for a better outcome this time as they fell at the final hurdle last season, losing to Barnsley in the playoff final, but if they do manage to return to the second tier of English football, veteran striker Steve Morison will have had a big hand in their success.
The 33-year old provided an outstanding assist to Millwall 2-1 up, and then scored the third himself much to the delight of the travelling fans, but when a number of them got a little too excited and attempt to join in with the players' celebrations, they were rightly told to piss off by Morison.
In comically similar circumstances, the Sky Sports cameras captured both times Morison told the cheeky supporters to 'GET OFF THE PITCH', the first time after he had just set-up what the Americans would call the "go-ahead goal"...
And the second was after Morison had finished the move off himself.
In this case, the power of the Welshman's shout appeared to knock the fan off of his feet.
Fair play to him, that's how you deal with a pitch invasion.
You'll often see players reluctantly accept that a fan has infiltrated the celebrations for fear that they may be a crazy person, but Morison simply shouted loudly and let them know it was in their best interests to piss off.
A pitch-invasion can only bring negative ramifications for a football club, and with your team looking a certainty for the final, it's brainless to risk being punished purely for the sake of breaking the rules.
A big performance by Steve Morison, if he's got another one in him for the final then Millwall could be back in the Championship.
