Following their 1-0 loss to Preston North End, West Bromwich Albion manager Steve Bruce was seen arguing with a fan.
Bruce is under pressure from the West Brom fans, especially with potential replacement Roy Keane spotted in the stands during Wednesday night's game.
Steve Bruce argues with fan outside Hawthorns
Whilst waiting outside the stadium, Andrew Beavin started to argue with his team's manager. Bruce then walked over to him, and he proceeded to confront him seemingly unhappy at what he is doing to his beloved club.
This is my club, this is my club, Steve this is my club.
The West Brom manager at first agreed with him and did not want to get into an unnecessary argument.
I agree with you, I totally agree with you.
However, from then on Bruce got fed up with the argument and seemed to think that he was a bit childish.
You're a grown man.
Andrew then later posted the confrontation on Twitter, stated that he was doing nothing wrong as he was not swearing or making signs to Bruce. He also claims that Steve Bruce's son, Alex Bruce a professional footballer who plays for the club stuck his finger up at him and his child.
@WBA Steve Bruce claiming that I swore at him last night, after his son (employee of yours) gave me & my 13 yr old son the middle finger! I never swore at him, I simply told him to get out my club, and his brat of a son stuck his finger up at us!!! @talkSPORT @SkySportsNews #wba pic.twitter.com/FgJ4bd2ONk

Pressure
Steve Bruce is already under pressure at the championship club. His side sit in 22nd place with only one win the entire season and have lost 4 games in the past 7. With the club having been in the Premier League as recently as 2021, they are already 8 points off the play-off positions. It doesn't get any easier for the manager as his next game is at home to Luton Town, who finished in the play-offs last season.

No stranger to fan hate
Steve Bruce is no stranger to getting hate from fans. The 61-year-old has managed 12 clubs so far in his career and has fallen out with supporters multiple times. The most recent example is Newcastle United whom he got sacked from in 2021. Fans of the North-East club were not a fan of the brand of football his team played. After being replaced with Eddie Howe, the former Manchester United defender revealed that it was tough getting abuse from fans and being called a cabbage head.
Steve Bruce:
“By the time I got to Newcastle, I thought I could handle everything thrown at me but it has been very, very tough. To never really be wanted, to feel that people wanted me to fail, that I was useless, a fat waste of space, a stupid, tactically inept cabbage head" pic.twitter.com/Oiz7x37wfI— Footy Accumulators (@FootyAccums) October 20, 2021
With pressure already mounting and tough games coming up, it's unlikely that the fans will be singing his name anytime soon.
