It must be pretty great being a Dundalk fan right about now.
They are the best team in Ireland, and now they are continuing their European odyssey: first the destruction of BATE Borisov, then the brave performance against Legia in the bowels of Warsaw, and now, they are facing into one hell of a European away.
While trips to Zenit and Tel Aviv are arduous, tomorrow's game against AZ Alkmaar in Holland is as good as European away trips come, and we're glad to report that Stephen Kenny and his side are determined that every fan can make the trip to the lowlands.
When one group of fans found themselves in trouble when their bus broke down at the toll around Drogheda, putting their trip in doubt, they were saved by Stephen Kenny.
A 52 seater bus pulled up beside them in their hour of need, and out popped Stephen Kenny, who asked the fans to take the team bus to the airport. The story has been shared by Fine Gael councillor John McGahon:
Bus load of @DundalkFC fans broke down on the motorway. Stephen Kenny & team bus pull over. "Hop on lads". pic.twitter.com/yFoewdCUIB

This is the most fortunate passing of a bus since the scene in Dumb and Dumber.
Dundalk kick off in Holland at 6pm tomorrow.
