A footballer taking a piss into a glass has become the major news story to emerge from Cheltenham so far this week, as Sky Sports News had the Republic of Ireland U21 international apologising for his behaviour as one of their features and top stories for the day.
It has since emerged that MK Dons have issued Carruthers a fine, and have banned him from this week's fixture, but another footballer who was enjoying his time at Cheltenham has spoken out against the ill-advised actions that grabbed so many headlines.

Stephen Hunt feels that Carruthers pissing into that glass makes all footballers look bad, and referred to the MK Dons player and his fellow urinator James Collins of Shrewsbury as 'bad eggs':
Most professional footballers really enjoy a day at the races as we’re left alone and can have a day without any hassle.
The vast majority of players coming to Cheltenham this week will have a bit of craic and behave themselves and it’s just a shame that the entire profession has been tarred by the actions of a few bad eggs.
There's always a few that ruin it for everyone.
In all seriousness, it seems a little strong from Hunt, as it's not like every footballer will now be expected to piss in public each time they make an appearance, although they may have to take a few jokes suggesting that, as made clear by Paddy Power above.
Then again.. The chap pissed in a pint glass.
