Over the past few days, the British and Irish Lions have awarded the ceremonial caps to past and present players. One such player was former Ulster and Irish rugby player Stephen Ferris, who was selected in 2009 on the South Africa tour.
In the aftermath of the caps, Ulster Rugby congratulated several players on their award, but omitted Ferris. He did not fail to notice this and took to Twitter to express his disappointment.
Standard @UlsterRugby sweeping me under the rug, just like a lot of other things this season.... I also received my @lionsofficial cap yesterday #768 pic.twitter.com/l2XXMCEdQr

We used two images that we came across on Twitter, Stevie. There are many more current and former Ulster players who we did not mention but sorry if you were offended.

Ferris has made the transition to pundit seamlessly and has spoken with real honesty about the situation that unfolded in the province this season.
Meanwhile, several other Irish players were celebrating collecting their cap.
