Earlier this month, Jeff Stelling and Chris Kamara touched down at Kerry Airport in Farranfore before making the hour drive to Dingle.
Their reason for being in the Kingdom: they were to commentate an underage game featuring Dingle and An Gaeltacht at Páirc a Ághasaigh. The two Soccer Saturday stars were in Ireland as guests of AIB and would travel around Ireland learning about GAA.
On that day in Dingle, they would take commentary notes from local man and legend of the microphone Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh. Their journey around Ireland they would lead to them meeting Dick Clerkin, Peter Canavan and Jonny Cooper among others.
Stelling and Kamara's adventures will be released as a series by AIB.
Like any good GAA summer, there's a chance the duo's will extend into September. AIB have challenged Stelling and Kamara to commentate on the All-Ireland football final on September 17th.
They may require more lessons from Mícheál before heading to Croker.
