After a 2-0 defeat in Richmond Park yesterday St Patricks Athletic's European adventure came to an abrupt end as they lost 4-1 on aggregate to Skonto FC. Pats were eliminated at the first qualifying phase for the Europa League, losing only their second European home game in 13 at Richmond Park.

However that didn't stop midfielder Jamie McGrath impressing after almost scoring after a bit of Dennis Bergkamp-esque wizardry.

McGrath's silky touch was reminiscent of the Dutchman's famous goal against Newcastle in 2002, which is widely revered as one of the best the Premier League has seen.

Although not at Europa League level, it isn't McGrath's first time to flick the ball past a defender to create for himself. Here he is converting as St Pats won the under 19 national title against Derry City.

Check out the crazy looking chip he scored for Ireland under 19s this season too.
