St Patrick's Athletic have secured Ireland U19 striker Glen McAuley after he was released by Premier League club Liverpool.
The League of Ireland side confirmed the news on Friday morning. McAuley had been linked with a number of Irish clubs as well as some English sides but handed Harry Kenny a boost by signing. He cited European ambitions as his goal at the club.
It comes after he was released alongside fellow Irish players Conor Masterson and Corey Whelan earlier this year.
"Hopefully now coming over here playing senior football will push me on even further and I will progress my game," he said as the club announced the deal.
