The Scottish Premier League truly is the gift that never stops giving for sports fans, and this weekend's clash between St Johnstone and Motherwell proved no different when the Motherwell TV commentator ended up on the wrong end of a tirade of abuse from the St. Johnstone fans.
The two sides clashed in round four of the Scottish Premier League on Saturday, when an injury-time goal saw Motherwell snatch victory at the death.
It was Motherwell who came racing out of the blocks, with a Dan Casey goal firing them into the lead after just eleven minutes. However, the tall task of holding rivals St. Johnstone at bay for the remaining eighty proved too much, and St. Johnstone were back level just after the hour mark.
Despite the game looking destined for a draw, Moses Ebiye bagged an injury-time header to claim the three points for the Steelmen and condemn St. Johnstone to their third defeat in four league games.

Motherwell TV commentator lamented after late winner.
While the late goal had Motherwell's players celebrating on the pitch, the St. Johnstone fans were less impressed and let Motherwell's commentator know with a tirade of abuse.
The Motherwell TV commentator was celebrating his side's 'unbelievable' goal when the St. Johnstone fans took offence to his enthusiasm, letting loose on the poor commentator.
Fella, see that microphone, I'll ram that so far up your arse you'll never get that fucker out. You ever talk to me like that again you little bastard.
Nice to see the St Johnstone fans around the Motherwell TV Commentator taking the late goal well 😬. pic.twitter.com/tktMD66TiH

In fairness to the Motherwell commentator, he took it all in his stride, telling viewers that the 'St. Johnstone fans not happy in front of me, I don't care', before remarking rather sarcastically that the 'St. Johnstone fans absolutely delighted, I hope you picked that up, ridiculous'.
While the win condemned St. Johnstone and their fans to a third defeat in four league games, it moved Motherwell into fourth place in the Scottish Premier League.
