Spurs survived an almighty scare this afternoon, with a flurry of lates goals sparing their blushes in their FA Cup tie against Morecambe.
The League One side took the lead in the first half of the match, with Cork's Anthony O'Connor volleying home from a corner.
That lead was retained right up until the closing stages of the game, with goals in the final 15 minutes from Harry Winks, Lucas Moura, and Harry Kane sparing the home side's blushes and booking their place in the next round.
Despite the late comeback, not all Spurs fans will come away from the ground pleased, with one player in particular the source of their frustrations.
With Antonio Conte's men still trailing with 20 minutes to go, the Italian opted to make a number of substitutes. That included replacing midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, who did not seem happy with the decision.
With his team chasing the game, he opted to exit the pitch in the slowest manner possible. Compare that to teammate Bryan Gil, who was also taken off during this period.
The home crowd were not happy, booing the player off the pitch. In fact, some members of the Spurs side even had to encourage him to hurry up and get to the sideline.

Regarding the Ndombele substitution, there was a moment where Harry Kane literally had to give him a nudge to get him off the pitch.

This could well be the last straw for the Frenchman, who has done nothing of note since joining Spurs in a £54million deal in the summer of 2019.
He has repeatedly been linked with a move away in the time that has followed and is reportedly unhappy with life in North London.
Many Tottenham fans have now seen enough from him.
Always find that kind of Ndombele situation unsettling, really, because it happens when fans and player lose all their regard for each other. Think it has to end now for everyone’s benefit.

So you’re telling me Gil still managed to get off the pitch quicker than Ndombele and they had to fuck about putting Dele’s number up then Gil’s. Fucking shambolic. Get him out of my club! #COYS #THFC pic.twitter.com/0uGv2Jv1yO

I do not care how good Tanguy Ndombele is, if Messi took spurs fans for dickheads like that it would be unforgivable
I’m not sure why dudes are still defending the guy— Capri🌊 (@N17Capri) January 9, 2022
I'd sell Ndombele for a doughnut. Just get him and his stinking attitude out of the club

I didn’t watch the game but I’ve read all of this Ndombele nonsense. Shame really. £54m with the world at his feet and he’s been a waste. £200,000 a week we’re paying him for this.

Difficult to think of a player with as much ability who has consistently let himself down like Tanguy Ndombele.
Poch, Mourinho, Mason, Nuno & Conte have all tried 2 get something out of him.
His Tottenham career looks over after the way he left the field today. A sad end.— Planet #FPL (James) (@PlanetFPLPod) January 9, 2022
If you gave me 200k a week to go to Spurs spa everyday, I’d have a body like Ronaldo and be able to run for 90 minutes on the football pitch, maybe even sprint!
No idea how this club haven’t got Ndombele to do that and he’s still here— Glory Glory (@gloryglorytott) January 9, 2022
Considering how much Antonio Conte demands from his players, Ndombele will have to make some serious adjustments to his attitude if he is to last under his management.
When you look at his tenure at the club thus far, that is looking very unlikely.
