Six months after suffering a heart attack in a BT Sport studio, there was a smile beaming across Glenn Hoddle's face on Wednesday night.
Hoddle was sitting beside Rio Ferdinand and Gary Lineker as his former club produced one of the all-time great comebacks in football history.
"I've never been happier, I'm so glad that I'm still around to see this," said Hoddle.
"I've got to say, being a Spurs fan from when I was eight years of age, what a proud moment."
As elated, maybe even more so, with the result were the Spurs players.
Erik Lamela, who had entered the game as a late sub with Spurs in search of a winner, went live on Instagram inside the Premier League side's dressing room.
The Argentine captured the pure ecstasy of the players and staff.
