And no, it's not Robbie Keane either.

The Daily Mail are spending this non-World Cup summer by creating best Premier League XI's for many of England's biggest clubs, and Tottenham Hotspur are the latest team to have their dream team selected.

Of course, there's a place for Real Madrid stars Luka Modric and Gareth Bale, and Hugo Lloris is the only current Spurs player in the squad, but there was only a place for one Irishman in the final XI.

Stephen Carr gets the nod at right-back, and the only downside that the Daily Mail could find was that he chose to leave for Newcastle.

Clearly the versatility of Gary Doherty has gone unnoticed here, and that may be enough to throw the legitimacy of this fictional XI out the window for some.

Seriously slim pickings at the left-back spot, but then again, Spurs have actually never had a decent one.
