Once again a barely believable video has surfaced via Spanish media, who seem hell-bent on a mission to transform on-pitch interactions between players into a soap opera.
Today's on pitch interactions, complete with hilariously unnecessary dramatic music, took place on the training pitch at the City of Manchester stadium and the circumstances are extremely bizarre.
Apparently, Cristiano Ronaldo was just casually telling his Real Madrid teammates about how small Shaun Wright-Phillips was...
As ridiculous as that sounds, have a look:
The "expert" lip readers are claiming that Ronaldo mentioned Shaun Wright-Phillips before doing that gesture to explain how small he was.
Why is Cristiano Ronaldo telling his Real Madrid teammates about how small Shaun Wright-Phillips is? Is he doing that at all? It does sound like the name 'Wright-Phillips' pops up, but could he have just been casually remarking on Bradley Wright-Phillips' stellar scoring record in the MLS?
This is so weird. Spanish football media is so weird.
