It's fair to say that the country of Mexico owes a debt of gratitude to South Korea, after the Taegeuk Warriors defeated Germany 2-0 earlier to ensure Mexico's passage into the next round despite their 3-0 defeat to Sweden.
Well it seems that the Mexicans are wasting no time in expressing that gratitude to their Asian allies, with footage from Copa90 showing hordes of Mexican fans parading a random South Korean man around Mexico city, singing 'El Corean! El Corean!':

This does not appear to be an isolated incident with Mexicans in Yekaterinberg sniffing out a South Korean and duly taking him on their shoulders in the spirit of brotherly love:

Footage has also emerged of Mexican supporters gathering outside the South Korean embassy, boisterously serenading their Group F rivals:
