Manchester-based sources close to Balls.ie have informed us that there is a strong feeling around Old Trafford that Roy Keane will NOT attend the unveiling of the Alex Ferguson statue today. Keane's relationship with Fergie has been on the rocks since that infamous MUTV interview and was exacerbated when Keano turned the knife on United after they went out of the Champions League in Basel last year. United had sent out an invite to Keane to mend old frictions. And though many United legends will be attendance this afternoon to celebrate Ferguson's career, it seems Keano will be at home as the whole of Twitter makes jokes about him walking Triggs.
