Even when Spurs are winning, they are still a source of drama.
The 2019 Champions League finalists have experienced a miserable season. Not only did they sack inconspicuously sack Mauricio Pochettino earlier in the season, but results have hardly improved under Jose Mourinho. If anything, they look in their worst position since the Tim Sherwood era.
They look like a team without direction and Mourinho's presence is hardly helping. He has already been very critical of his players and of the board at the club.
They took the lead in their game against Everton tonight thanks to an own-goal from Michael Keane, but there was still a confrontation between two Spurs players as they headed down the tunnel for halftime.
Hugo Lloris chased after Heung-Min Son, seemingly unhappy with something that took place at the end of the first half. He was absolutely fuming.
What's happened there?!? 😲
Hugo Lloris and Son Heung-min have to be separated by their teammates as they make their way off the pitch at half-time! 🤬

While it is unclear what sparked the Frenchman's anger, it is thought to the South Korean's failure to put in a tackle and track back during an Everton attack late in the first half.
It will be interesting to see what is said about the confrontation.
