Argentine superstar and British transfer record holder Angel Di Maria has seen over 100 million euros traded for his services throughout his career but the first of those transfer fees didn't involve any cash.

Marcelo Pavon - a former coach of Di Maria's from El Dorito in Rosario told AFP yesterday that the Manchester United winger was sold for 20 footballs to Rosario Central when he was a seven year old at the club. Pavon went on to call that fee "a fortune".
