Today's Indo explains why Shefflin's had the time to tweet about being an Arsenal supporter and retweet Kilkenny supporters out there over the last week. He's nowhere near a return to hurling. We hope he doesn't get too caught up in the Twitter machine. It's a bit of a distraction from the real world.
"I don't know at the minute when I might be able to return," Shefflin revealed. "I haven't done enough work to know. When I take a few knocks on the training field I will have a better idea."
"I need heavier work," he insisted. "I need contact and matches. I am not getting as much as I would like. I have done all the strength and conditioning work in the gym and so on. I need match practice now. I am getting closer, but I would want to be at this stage," he explained.
"The year is getting on. It is May. I have a bit more experience of injuries than I would ever have wanted. If I got a couple of weeks of good training and felt good, I would definitely be in with a chance," he said of the possibility of making the Leinster semi-final.
