If ever you wanted a scathing indictment of everything that is wrong with modern football, Blackpool's Jacob Murphy has just obliged.

Murphy who is on loan from Norwich, is one of a plethora of players who Blackpool wrangled in at the last minute in the hope that their seemingly inevitable slide out of the Championship could be avoided. It hasn't worked. Cast adrift at the bottom of the table, Blackpool's fans have been subject to some of the most criminal mis-management of a football club that has ever existed.
When he's not calling fans 'retards' Karl Oyston is sitting back allowing a once proud football club drift off into insignificance. The state of the pitch at Bloomfield Road is proof if any was needed that Oyston really couldn't care less about the club.
All that is just an addendum to the above Snapchat that Murphy apparently sent to some of his teammates on Sunday before their game against Rotherham. Blackpool actually managed a 1-1 draw. However, when you have a chairman like Oyston, is it really any wonder that the players, particularly those on loan who can take comfort in the fact that they'll be out of there soon enough, are less than distraught over the club's position.
