You can't take much away from Celtic this year, it's been one of the greatest seasons in the club's history with fans getting to witness 3 trophies and their side not suffering a single domestic defeat. But now there's been a development in the Moussa Dembele transfer saga that fans won't want to hear.

While everyone is distracted with the Champions League Final in Cardiff, Sky Sports have just dropped a bombshell that's bound to annoy Celtic fans, although they probably won't find it hugely surprising.

Earlier today, Ginaluca Di Marzio also reported that Milan had significantly upped their interest in the young Frenchman.

Signed for a mere £500,000 from Fulham, Moussa Dembele was an instant favourite after scoring a hat-trick in his first game which just so happened to be against Rangers. From there he racked up 32 goals in 48 appearances which is hugely impressive considering he's still only 20-years-old.

But now the inevitable seems to be happening as richer clubs take notice and it looks like AC Milan have taken initiative in the chase and are now engaging in talks with the young Frenchman.

Milan seem to be embarking on a new era since being bought by Chinese Business Man Yonghong Li last month and have seen their whole boardroom overhauled as the club builds towards getting back into the Champions League for the first time since 2011.

Milan's bid is reported to be around the €35m mark which will come as a blow to Monaco and Dortmund who are also reportedly keen on taking the striker away from Parkhead.

There is however some good news in the Celtic Dembele front as 14-year-old Karamoko has signed on for another 2 more years with the youth team.

The promising young talent made his debut for Celtic's u20s at the age of 13, speaking to the club's website Karamoko said:

I’m delighted to have signed at such a wonderful club and I think this is the right place for me to fulfil my potential and achievements. And my goal is to reach the first team.

It’s not going to be easy becoming a footballer at such a big club but I will show hard work, commitment and the biggest one for me, responsibility.
