The look on Martin Skrtel's face says it all.
The former Liverpool centrehalf was sent off just before the the hour mark on Sam Allardyce's first match as England boss in Slovakia. Skrtel was given a second yellow for the stamp and you can tell by his reaction that he immediately knew he was in trouble as soon as he made contact with Kane's ankle.
Skrtel, who is now on the books at Fenerbahce in Turkey, was given his first yellow for elbowing Harry Kane in the first half. In fact, Skrtel had been engaging in various forms of assault on the Tottenham striker throughout the match and it's quite remarkable that he made it this far into the match without being given his marching orders.
See for yourself below. This definitely seems deserving of a straight red to us.
The score? We're approaching the 70th minute of play at the time of writing and England are currently engaging in a very Allardycian 0-0 draw with the Slovaks.
