Simon Mignolet Has Taken To Facebook To Answer Back To Critics

In one of the most bewildering stats of the year, Simon Mignolet has kept more clean sheets than anyone in the Premier League in the last twelve months, with fifteen.

Mignolet posted his achievement to his Facebook page, and then committed the greatest of all internet errors: he read the comments below the line.

It is a reasonable argument by Mignolet, but it is undermind by his continued proclivity for committing massive errors that cost Liverpool goals and points and add an anxious air to Anfield.

He must be credited however, for not attacking the original poster's grammar.

Mignolet's confidence has gone through various peaks and troughs throughout his time with Liverpool; perhaps he would be better off resisting a glance underneath his social media posts.
