You may have seen some quotes from new Fenerbahce defender Simon Kjaer during the week. In them, he apparently rejected Liverpool because he wants to win trophies.
But now there are claims that those quotes were fabricated.
He never said that. Quotes from Turkey are rubbish. Simon #Kjaer never mentioned #LFC. I should know as his media adviser. @LivEchoLFC

The Danish international's media advisor, Lars Hendel, says that it's completely false and that the quotes from Turkey weren't true.
I know some people just want a bit of controversy, but there's no point in making things up. All's well now between Kjaer and Liverpool, even if he did reject their advances.
