We all had a good laugh at Louis Van Gaal when Louis Van Gaal announced Mike Smalling as Manchester United's third captain and now we've another addition to the wrongly named XI, to play alongside the likes of Smalling and Charles Insomnia.

It does seem harsh to get someone's name wrong - especially when you are attempting to praise them - but that's what's happened again for poor Sam Allardyce on Sky's coverage of Everton and Manchester City.

Martin O'Neill needs to get on the blower to Seamus to see if he can get his namesake in the Ireland squad too.

In fairness to Big Sam, there was a Simon Coleman who was a right-back who played for Bolton until 1998. Maybe he could still do a job?
