Silvio Berlusconi's younger brother and AC Milan Vice-President, Paolo Berlusconi has placed himself at the centre of a racism controversy after he referred to Milan's newly acquire striker, Mario Balotelli, as "the family's little n****r". He was speaking at an event for the People of Freedom part in Lombardy.
Only last month Silvio Berlusconi had praised Kevin Price Boateng after he walked off the pitch due to racial abuse he received from a crowd during a friendly game between AC Milan and Italian 4th division side, Pro Patria.
In relation to the incident against Pro Patria, Berlusconi had said:
I called Kevin-Prince Boateng a little while ago and I congratulated him for his reaction against the disgraceful episode of racism that took place in the stadium of Pro Patria in Busto Arsizio
