Sheffield Wednesday produced one of the all-time great collection of goals in a single game, during their 3-0 Carabao Cup win over Rochdale last night. Each goal was as good as the next, and each one a screamer.
Defender Jaden Brown grabbed the first, getting on the end of a corner routine and lashing in a top-corner bullet from 25 yards.
The second came from midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, with a similar goal to the first but at more of an angle.
Dennis Adeniran completed the hat-trick of worldies with arguably the best of the lot. The midfielder picked up the ball at the centre-circle, before charging towards goal and cracking one in from 30 yards.

Before the game Sheffield Wednesday boss, Darren Moore, spoke to the press about the tie: “It is the second round of the competition and we take nothing for granted.
“Rochdale are under a new management team and we will look at their game from the weekend. We will look at the individuals they have got there and we will then make our decisions from there. We will go into the game with every detail covered. We are at home in front of our fans and we want to perform.”
The victory sees Sheffield Wednesday advance to the third round of the Carabao Cup, while they also lie in fourth place in League One, three points off first placed Ipswich Town.
Rochdale currently find themselves bottom of League Two, 13 points behind leaders Leyton Orient, having lost all of their first five matches.
