Shay Given's Grief

Shay Given, who played with Gary Speed at Newcastle for six seasons, was very emotional during the minute of silence and applause that preceded the Swansea-Villa match today. His tears dislodged his contact lens.

I can't imagine being asked to work an hour or so after receiving such news. May he have a clean sheet that he can dedicate to his friend's memory.
