Millwall lost 2-1 at home to Nottingham Forest in the League Cup last night.
Forest took a first half lead through Jamie Paterson. With less than a quarter of an hour left in the game, Millwall found an equaliser. It came from Irish midfielder Shaun Williams. The Dubliner had just entered the game minutes earlier as a replacement for Ben Thompson. He wasted no time making an impact.
Parity would only be held for 10 minutes before Forest got the winner through Lars Veldwijk.
On Twitter, the 29-year-old called it 'Hands down the best goal I've scored'.

The man who Williams beat in the Forest goal was another Irish man - Stephen Henderson.
Williams, a former League of Ireland player with Drogheda and Sporting Fingal, joined Millwall from MK Dons in 2014.
