Bohemians today announced that they have acquired the services of former Ipswich and Ireland U21 keeper Shane Supple.
Supple, now 29, quit professional football nearly seven years ago while at Ipswich, who at the time were under the management of Roy Keane.
Then 22, the Dubliner said that he had 'fallen out of love with the game'.
Playing professional football is not something I want to continue doing.
As you grow up you realise there are other things in life and to be honest, the game is not what I thought it was.
Supple made 38 first team appearances for Ipswich before returning home where he began playing Gaelic football with St. Brigid's. He would eventually make the Dublin panel where he became back-up to Stephen Cluxton.
In the intervening years, he also began playing football again with Leinster Senior League side Crumlin United.
