Shane Long is currently the subject of a brilliant TV3 documentary entitled Living With Lucy, in which the Irish striker is paid a visit by TV presenter Lucy Kennedy, with a camera crew in tow. It's essentially what MTV Cribs should aspire to be.

While kicking a football about in the garden, Kennedy raised the conversation which we'd all been waiting for: a chat about THAT goal against Germany. Y'know, the goal which taught us all that there is, in fact, a higher plane of consciousness out there for us all.

While reminiscing, Long revealed that he was denied the chance to fully bask it in: those pesky drug testers randomly selected Long, testing which took over an hour and a half, meaning Long arrived back to an empty dressing room.

The best part of this clip, however, is the fact Long just couldn't help the smile breaking across his face while remembering the goal. Oh, and the revelation that, if you got some fan footage of the goal, it's on his phone.

Sorry Shane, you missed one hell of a party. But thanks for starting it.
