After a titanic title race featuring two absolute juggernauts, one of Manchester City or Liverpool will finally be crowned Premier League champions this weekend.
Liverpool will face Wolves at Anfield, knowing they need a win to have any chance of ending their 29-year title drought. It will ultimately be out of their hands, with three points for City away at Brighton being enough to secure a second consecutive winner's medal.
Many felt that Leicester were the last potential bogey side for Pep Guardiola's team, and for much of their meeting it seemed it would pan out that way. Vincent Kompany's thunderbolt would put an end to that theory, and it has widely been assumed that the game at the Amex on Sunday is a mere formality.
However, the Brighton players certainly don't see it that way. While they will be huge underdogs entering this one, they have put it up to the top six at times this season.
They beat Manchester United at home, while also drawing home and away to Arsenal. Only once have they been defeated by more than one goal, a 2-0 City win at The Etihad.
Shane Duffy knows his side are being written off before game even starts, but he says City they will not roll over City despite having nothing to play for.
It’s been a tight (title) race and it's come down to the final game of the campaign.
We know we’ll have to defend well again and try and be at our best – we’ll just try to win the game, if they beat us then they win the league and it’s as simple as that, so we’ll just go out there with a determination and belief that we can get a result.
We know the occasion, but we have to focus on ourselves in the final game of the season in front of our home fans.
He's your only hope Liverpool fans.
