Shane Duffy's Brighton are flying at the top of the Championship table, sitting ahead of Newcastle after their 3-0 defeat of Reading outdid the Magpies' draw at home to Bristol City on Saturday. Duffy has been one of the first names on the Brighton team-sheet since joining last summer from Blackburn and put in another momentous display this weekend. His performance included a crucial goal-line clearance early in the second half when the game was at 1-0. Brighton then went down the other end of the pitch and scored from a corner to make it 2-0.
The Seagulls' fans are as high as kites, and it seems (from our utterly unbiased viewpoint) that much of that elation was making its way towards the big man from Derry.
Ain't no body, like Shane Duffy #bhafc
