In Friday night's live TV Airtricity League game between Shamrock Rovers and Bohemians, we had a strong contender for worst refereeing decision of the season. Less than two weeks after Tom Connolly gave Pats a penalty in Drogheda for this, Neil Doyle awarded Shamrock Rovers a penalty for this to overtake him.

As RTE commentator on the night Brian Kerr said;

"It hit him in the mush!"

Watching League of Ireland players made their feelings known.

Others were a little stronger on Doyle.

The reaction may have been even stronger if all but Dundalk and Sligo Rovers had been in action.
