Shamrock Rovers have beaten Ferencvaros 1-0 in Tallaght Stadium this evening, in their Europa League qualifying match. The result gave the Hungarian side a 4-1 victory on aggregate, but there was still a positive atmosphere around the ground, despite being dumped out of the competition.
While Rovers lost the overall tie, they will still be playing European group stage football this season, having already assured themselves of at least a spot in the Europa Conference League.
All their home group games have been confirmed for Tallaght Stadium, while all their matches will be broadcast live on Virgin.

Shamrock Rovers vs Ferencvaros Recap
Ferencvaros played a tactically sound game this evening. They kept their concentration for the majority of the 90 minutes, and held Shamrock Rovers to just a handful of chances.
The home side's goal came late in the 89th minute, when fullback Andy Lyons headed in from a corner kick.
The main positive to come out of the game for Shamrock Rovers was the performance of man-of-the-match Justin Ferizaj.
17-year-old Ferizaj had an impressive first-half in particular, and came close to scoring after his long-range effort whizzed over the bar.
Rovers will be slightly disappointed with their performance overall, however, and will be frustrated at not putting away any of their earlier chances, to put a few shreds of doubt in the minds of the away side.
The draw for the Europa Conference League group stages will be held tomorrow.
