Setanta will also broadcast Women's and U21 internationals to go with their current coverage of the Airtricity League and Setanta Sports Cup, effectively making Setanta the home of Irish football for the foreseeable future, and FAI CEO John Delaney shared his thoughts on the matter:

Covering all home friendly matches, U21 and senior women’s games and support for the FAI Emerging Talent programme alongside existing commitments to the SSE Airtricity League, Setanta Sports will provide an excellent platform for the promotion of the game.

Starting with the Oman match, then November's clash with Team USA Mens National Team Soccer, and the big one against England in June, Setanta will certainly be a more attractive TV package to fans of Irish football.
